Frances Anderson

August 18, 1920 ~ July 1, 2018 (age 97)

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Frances Anderson, 97, announces the death of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Frances died as she lived, surrounded by her loving family in the home her husband built for her and their children. She is survived by her sister Millie Sorci and her three daughters: Andi (Joe)Olaeta, Angela (Jimmy) Russo, and Marilyn (Les) Moro. She also will be missed by her grandchildren: Stephanie Olaeta, Jennifer (John) Telford, Beth Tarallo, James (Kristin) Russo, Adam (Olivia) Moro, and Gina (Adam) Nebesar.
In addition, Frances leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren: Jenelle (Ben) Newman, Melanie and Annjoeli Olaeta, Johnny, Juliana and Jenna Tarallo, Evan and Ryan Russo, Owen Moro, Hazel and Quentin Nebesar, Evalyne and Remington Newman and by her long time caretaker who was more like a son to her, Shon Kanady. She is preceded in death by her adoring husband of 67 years, Quentin "Bud" Anderson and her great great granddaughter Monroe Newman.
Frances was born in Monterey to her parents Guiseppi and Angelina Lucido and lived the entirety of her life on the peninsula.
She was a beautifully put together woman who took pride in her presentation and evoked class, elegance and dignity. Her strong will carried her through the struggles with her health over the past few years but was beyond blessed with a fulfilled life and an enduring faith in which she instilled in her family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am at San Carlos Cathedral on July 7th, 2018.
